| This matching numbers UK example was restored some 13 years ago and, like many cars finished to such a high standard, used very little. Accompanying the car is a comprehensive history folder with a photo recorded restoration confirming it was correctly restored and nearly £50,000 of bills. Originality was chosen over upgrades which we always would argue works better on MK11’s with the exception of the fitting of the tried and tested Vicarage power assisted steering upgrade. Since acquisition, we have thoroughly commissioned this MK11 over the course of the last three months and covering some 400 miles. Recent work has included all fluids, hoses, new petrol pump, carburettors overhauled, new fuel tank and a full major service as per the manufacturer’s recommendations.
